Heaven gives Notre Dame priest thunderous standing ovation
It occurred to me to juxtapose these two pictures from earlier today at Notre Shame University.

While the millstone of Notre Dame is placed around President Obortion's neck and 12,000 at Notre Dame stand giving a thunderous ovation, all heaven stood to honor an 80 year old priest as he received heaven's high honor for peacefully taking a stand for life and the plight of the unborn. You can see the video of Father Norman Weslin's arrest here.
That little jail tag around the neck of this bound man of God is a high honor in the kingdom of God. If you are wondering about my phrase - "the millstone of Notre Dame" - I'd remind you that Jesus spoke of placing something around the neck of those who keep children from LIFE.
I'm in no position to advise the Catholic Church, but maybe it's time the priests only serve Communion to those willing to wear the symbolic white jail tag. I'll think I'll wear one around my neck this week when I'm in DC to show my solidarity with this man of God.

God bless you. I hope you don't mind I posted this on my blog but with a simple link back to your blog.
Also, it is my understanding that Fr. Weslin doesn't work at Notre Dame. He traveled there for the protest, I believe. Also, it is notable that Norma McCorvey, who was the plaintiff in Roe v. Wade, who has since repented and is a faithful, practicing Catholic, was also arrested protesting Obama's speech at Notre Dame.

Steve:
As you know, for along time I have been concerned about the connection between Planned Parenthood, Denny Sanford and his money and Sanford Health, particularly as it is related to embryonic stem cell research and the destruction of innocents. I was surprised when Sanford decided to make diabetes their poster child of diseases to cure, since there is very efficacious results ALREADY with adult stem cell treatment for type 1 diabetes.
President Obama threw Sanford a bone during his Notre Dame speech. I have never been a conspiracy theorist, but I also DO NOT believe in consequences. Something is up. We all need to be very vigilant. We know T. Denny is going to try to by seats in the legislature, and probably has already put Heidepreim and Knudson in his pocket and buttoned it shut.
Reading this article, it feels very personal -as if Obama has literally been reading our email. Weird.
Check this out: http://www.lifenews.com/bio2848.html
Here's a quote:
"South Bend, IN (LifeNews.com) — During his graduation speech at the University of Notre Dame, President Barack Obama pushed embryonic stem cell research for juvenile diabetes. However, Obama ignored how research scientists have already had tremendous success using adult stem cells.
During a section of Obama's commencement speech focusing on the political and cultural disagreements Notre Dame students will encounter as they enter the world, Obama turned to stem cell research.
He made it appear as if opponents of embryonic stem cell research, which has never helped any patients and requires the destruction of human life, stand on the other side of cures for patients.
"Those who speak out against stem cell research may be rooted in admirable conviction about the sacredness of life, but so are the parents of a child with juvenile diabetes who are convinced that their son’s or daughter’s hardships can be relieved," he said."

I actually DO believe in consequences. I do not believe in COINCIDENCES. #notenoughcaffeine

Proving conclusively that Notre Dame and its graduates are, for the most part, neither Pro-Life, Christian, nor Catholic in thought or deed. This makes me literally sick to my stomach. From Jillstanik.com:
But as the president began his commencement address, at least three protesters interrupted it. One yelled, "Stop killing our children!"
The graduates responded by chanting, "Yes we can," the slogan that became synonymous with Obama's presidential campaign.

In all seriousness, would someone contact either the police department (it's public information) or the priest, and see whether this identical tag could be either obtained or copied?
I want one. Heck, I want 100.

The Voices Carry blog has posted a blog with a stunning comparison: It occurred to me to juxtapose these two pictures from earlier today at Notre Shame University. While the millstone of Notre Dame is placed around President Obortion's neck……

As I watched these videos I realized that this is not just about a priest. It is about our Freedom of Speech. There were maybe 40 people at this protest and all were protesting peachfully. There were no riots, no tipping and burning of cars, no gun shots. Okay so someone shouted something. Past presidents have encountered peaceful protesters in the past During visits during speeches. I don't remember any of them getting arrested.

I felt such a great and quiet sadness come over me as I watched Obama receive his honorary degree. It was not unlike the feeling I had watching the Twin Towers collapse in on themselves on 9/11. Pray for Notre Dame - home of the "Capitulating Irish".

Good use of the pics and the millstone image to make your point.
Knowing who's on the board of Notre Dame, and that they've chosen to place their social and financial position above all, explains the insane posture that Notre Dame has assumed.

Thank you for your beautiful pictures asnd words of what is right and what is wrong.
I just wanted you to know that Father Weslin has been released and is ok considering.
Father has asked me to thank you one and all and to encourage every one of us to speak out, witness to never stop protecting and defending the lives of God's children in the womb.
We must not let his sacrifice be in vain.

In 1929 Our Lord told Sister Lucia of Fatima that the Holy Father was to consecrate Russia (by name - not the world) to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and that until that consecration is done (which it has not) that the Church and the world will fall into ruin. Our Lady said at Akita, Japan (approved apparition)in 1973 that there will be a revolution in the Church (and what follows is the world also) and that God is going to visit a chastisement on the world that is unprecedented of the likes of which mankind has never seen. The promise of the indefectibility of the Church by Our Lord means that in the "last" hour He will intervene and force the consecration, if necessary, but until then He will let the world, and especially the Church and Catholics, be punished by their enemies as He promised to Sister Mary of St. Peter of the Holy Face Devotions in 1846. The loss of faith of Catholics is enormous, only 25% of American Catholics and less than 19% of all European (Catholic Europe?) Catholics attend the sacraments and of those small numbers many do not believe in the doctrines of the faith. Sixty percent of Catholic Priests no longer believe in the true presence or in Transubstantiaion - that is a survey done by themselves. Pray, pray, your Rosary that the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary or until then things are going to get much much worse. [Search - "The Three Days of Darkness" and the prophecies of Marie-Julie Jahenny, the Briton Stigmatist, who in 1886 was shown visions of WWI, WWII and WWIII with a God sent chastisement. In 1902 she was told by Our Lord that a "New Mass" was going to come that was "Odius" in His sight.]
Joseph @ 9:16 pm
where did you get that statistic regarding 60% of priests not believing in transubstatiation

The jail tag idea sounds like something to keep in mind as a campaign for all Christians if/when the persecution escalates, the new Christian "fish"…the new ichthys.
Thank you, Pastor for your solidarity.

In these days of darkness and confusion between catholics of modernism vs tradition, Fr. Weslin reminds the world that Roman Catholic Heroes are still among us. It is courage and perseverance in the days ahead we will need to sustain in Obama's communist world of death and lies against the unborn, etc. Our Lady of Fatima, ora pro nobis!

God Bless Fr Weslin! He is a wonderful priest who has dedicated his ministry to saving the unborn from the butcher's knife for many years.
We need more priest, bishops, cardnials- yes- I said bishops and cardinals to join him.

Of course Russia was consecrated just not fully. If you knew catholic Doctrine for example on merits and other traditional teachings of the Church on seven stages of heaven Avila, john of the cross, climachus etc. You would know there are various levels of Holiness or sanctification. Russia was consecrated but due to the Frailties of Mankind. (it was limited) so Heavens response is limited. The reason it was limited was all the Bishops of the World were asked. Of course us latins do not consider Orthodox Bishops to be bishops and yet Mary does. The call of Fatima is also a very strong call for unity. Byzantine Orthodoxy and the Latin West must unite for any success. So stop showing off your lack of knowledge and pray as we should for the orthodox and Latin church become united. Are you by any chance a believer in Fr Gruner's position?
Jen @ 11:18 am
He can barely walk on his own. What threat did he pose that required being bound and carried off? What law is he breaking by peaceful demonstration? This is a sad day for America.
DMF @ 11:35 am
Good for you! This is a stunning comparison. I am a Catholic and completely torn apart by what is happening. This is a betrayal of all the Catholic Church has always stood for and defended. I am heartbroken.
these pictures say it all…..and yes, this dear priest received a standing ovation in Heaven.
Jim @ 3:25 pm
Notre Dame is long gone. To sell their soul to one of Satan's prime ministers is beyond shame. A greater shame is Pope Benedict not storming the citadel. How about open declarations banning President Obama from Catholic institutions, declaring excommunication for extreme public scandal for anyone participating in such events, and openly severing all ties with all these fake Catholic schools. "He that has delivered me to thee, has the greater sin." Pope Benedict needs our prayers to start getting tough and stop kow-towing to haters of Christ and His Kingdom. Fighting Irish? How about Sleeping Apostates!
Elizabeth @ 5:04 pm
All we can really do is pray. Then pray more.God is in His Heaven. He will provide. Do what you can, where you can. God doesn't expect us to solve the problems that others have created. He just expects our love and Trust in Him.Pray the Rosary.

Father Weslin is my hero. He is brave, self-actuated, funny, loving, likeable, conservvative. Obama? He's just a politician.
Christine Wilson @ 11:49 pm
Father Weslin is my spiritual director. We met in 1990 through very miraculous intervention. I met Father the same day I was introduced to St. Faustina. Both proved to be life changing introductions. I was blessed to be a Lamb of Christ with father trying to save babies. Babies were saved through our peaceful blocking of abortion clinic doors. We spent many month in jail together, He used to come and stay with us when he would pass through as he traveled from one side of the country to the other. I have been blessed to have had Father Weslin offer many masses in our home. Now he lives here in our city with some friends of ours. I am not sure that there is a more sacraficial priest alive today or a more humble one. I am blessed to offer mass in his little chapel. Mother Angelica says we are all called to be great saints. I believe that father is because he offers himself in total abandonment to God and is led by the Holy Spirit. He has been one of the greatest joys that God has given to me and my family and I will be eternally grateful to God that he has blessed us with this holy priest.
P.J.David @ 7:55 pm
Its a shame that the entire body of Cardinals and Bishops
of U.S.A did not stand together in the hour crisis at Notre Dame scandal. They could have impeached Fr.Jenkins and prevented. It mens that majority of them are wolves and enemies of Catholic Church. Its time Our Holy Ftaher is emboldened to weed out those elements and appoint the right ones.
May our Lord and Immaculate Heart of Mary have mercy on us and save us.
Let us pray the Rosary for the cause of consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Bonnie @ 7:05 am

I agree with you strongly. Our Pope needs to get tough on any Catholic that does not defend life. He also needs to come out with a very strong statement about the news in Ireland. I am so sick and sad about all the news concerning our Church and how unCatholic She is becoming. Pray and wear your scapular and pray the rosary..

If anyone can get one of these tags, please let me know. At the least, the police should give us a photo of one so we can copy it.
How is the good Padre doing?
What was done at Court?
After speaking with the Sheriff's Representative, it seems the Freemasons are proud of their work and will continue to work in the manner as they did when they shot by firing squad the Holy Priests in the Mexican Cristero Rebellion.
May Christ be glorified. Amen.

I knew Father when he would come in to Syracuse, NY. Funny thing, but, one Sunday, when he was giving a sermon about abortion, a man and his very young son walked out. I guess the conscience pricked him? Another thing, so many people called the pastor of this Church and complained that Father was not welcome to go there anymore. Needless to say, I did not go there anymore either. I went across the street to the Society.
Another thing, looks like they were putting a noose around BO's neck does it not? janet

Father is doing well! He will be going back to South Bend for a court apperance soon. Pray that God will make him an instrument and a witness for the babies and for truth so God will be glorified. He started doing a 39 day fast on just water and the Eucharist. while he was in South Bend. When he came home I talked to him about how hard the fast would be and that I was concerned for his health. He told me he had done the 39 day fast on water before. I told him he was 20 years younger then. He just smiled and shook his head. He was getting very weak and it was difficult for him when he celebrated mass. I love his masses. Sometimes he is overwelmed with emotion and on the verge of tears as he offers mass. What a blessing to be with a priest for mass who overflows with love for Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross for us, Originally his spiritual director said he would not tell him to end his fast, but on the tenth day his spiritual director told him to stop the fast. He told him he had fasted long enough, Father Weslin tried to convince his superior to let him continue, but his director told him no and that the fast was over. Father Weslin believes obedience is the key to faithfullness. He always tells me God sees our desire to please him and that in itself pleases God. When we offer novenas Father always says to offer 9 days for the novena and one day in thanksgiving. It was very cool that his superior called him on the 10th day!!!! He is eating now except he has always fasted on water until after 6:oopm mass then he eats after receiving Jesus first. A little something special to know about Father is that one of his favorite prayers is the Memore. I have seen so many fun miracles happen when he prays that prayer. His prayers are answered by our BLessed Mother because he has confidence in her. He has written a book. He wrote it when he was in jail. If anyone is interested in getting a copy of the book I could ask him if he still has a few copies. He always signs them personally to whoever buys one. If I get a chance tomorrow I will ask him if he was able to keep the tag they placed around his neck. Father didn't even know any of the internet information about him and Notre Dame was going on. He was very surprised when I showed him the you tube video. Pray for Father .
