Party of Death spokesman Barry Lynn harrasses Liberty University

Last week I put up a post on Barry Lynn and his group American's United for the Separation of Church and State and how they are harrassing churches and pastors (including me) trying to take away our first amendment free speech rights and get the government to restrict the free exercise of religion in America.

Today we learn Barry filed a complaint with the IRS against Jerry Falwell's Liberty University for not recognizing a College Democrats club that tried to form on campus. This now enormous and influential university was established expressly to perpetuate the undeniably Judeo-Christian values our nation was founded upon and Liberty has every right to keep off campus every group that opposes those values. And we all know the Democratic Party is The Party of Death.

I love it that Liberty is responding by asking the IRS to review whether Americans United should lose its tax-exempt status for regularly supporting Democratic Party positions.

Now for some barely related personal trivia… here's a pic of myself and Jonathan Falwell from last month. I hold his father in the highest regard - my dad accepted Christ in the mid-70's watching his dad on TV. Just prior to this pic we were talking about missing our dads - here's a tribute to his father on his blog. We are partnering with Jonathan to plant hundreds of life-giving local churches and raise up a generation that defends life and liberty.  (I'm noticing that though we are the same age I'm looking more gray on top.)
