Dave Volk and Daschle's devils team up to destroy human life

Heard a great new Sanford slogan this morning… 

SANFORD HEALTH: EMBRYOS ARE NOT JUST FOR BABIES ANYMORE.

It's hardly a secret Sanford is dying to experiment on human embryos despite the fact that there have been NO cures or benefits uncovered in ANY embryonic stem cell research EVER! And, as was reported this weekend both here and then here, efforts are again underway to amend out language in South Dakota law that prohibits experimenting on human embryos. In my earlier post I focused on the front guy this time around in this effort, David Volk.

As we speak, Volk and friends (more on that in a minute) are attending the 2009 World Stem Cell Summit in Baltimore. Interesting to see who sponsors that conference. Even more interesting is who stands behind Volk.

Pat Powers at Dakota War College just posted a ten page document from the SD Legislative Research Council to Volk which contains the draft language amending out the language prohibiting embryonic stem cell research. Here's a sample of what's there.

Most interesting is what Powers found when checking into Volks new website for his deceptively named "South Dakotans for Lifesaving Cures."  I'll post that section of the Dakota War College post here:

That’s right – just like pro-choice group “Campaign for Healthy Families” this measure is being promoted and ran out of Hildebrand Strategies, the company of Democratic political consultant Steve Hildebrand.

Devils. Is anyone surprised Volk, a supposedly "staunchly pro-life republican," is in with the Planned Parenthood/Daschle crowd?
