American Cancer Society does NOT support Dave Volk, embryonic stem cell experimentation

The American Cancer Society does NOT support embryonic stem cell experimentation. I talk to their lobbiest in Pierre this morning and in five different ways she said "we do not support embryonic stem cell experimentation." She said it is Dave Volk's perrogative to keep telling us about his cancer and his hopes for cures to be found sacrificing human embyros but that the American Cancer Society does not support or fund experimenting on human embyros.

The reasons are plain - embryonic stem cells mutate and no cures have come from them. And, there are enormous ethical issues to the sacrifcing of human life.
