Another moment brought to you by abortion
I read this today and thought you should too…
Another moment brought to you by abortion…
Today at around 3:08 PM in Florida, you would have found me pulled over on the side of the road with my face buried in my hands as I gasped for oxygen and very audibly sobbed, because my very challenging son, who was diagnosed with autism at 8 and who had just had yet another public episode, innocently asked me if I wished I would have aborted him.
I was not prepared for this question. It felt like the whole of my viscera had been pulled through my navel in one neat tug, and I started weeping inconsolably. Not because there was any truth to his statement, but because I killed his brother or sister, my first child, in a second trimester abortion.
I was crying, my startled four-year-old was crying, my son was confused…
This is where we are 12 years later.
Abortion is forever.

How should you be punished for murdering your unborn daughter?
Death penalty? Life in prison? Ten-dollar fine? How?

Zombie - you are back from the grave. Lovely.
I think most reading this can reread the post and will agree with me that the gal needs no additional penalty - the well-established pain many women face post-abortion is substantial enough. Of course, you love pain and wish more of it on people so I don't suppose you rereading the post 100x will change any of that.
No pro-life legislation has ever sought penalty for women who abort. We've gone over this ground here before so I'll not repeat myself - just read what is here… http://www.voicescarryblog.com/no-penalty-for-the-mom-who-aborts-does-not-mean-the-unborn-are-less-human/
Zombie - I don't want a follow up comment from you. You are a master of diverting people away from the issue at hand. I'm happy to hear what others reading this are thinking. I put up this post which speaks for itself - abortion is forever and it wrecks lives. We all just need to sit with this gal in that painful reality until we are stirred enough to fight this great evil that hurts women and kills children. Punishment has already come on two people here… a capital punishment was exacted on an innocent child and the mother sure sounds like she is living quite shackled in the fruit of her CHOICES. Good people reading this will have compassion on her and a welling anger toward systems and ideologies that make these stories commonplace in what appears to be civilized societies.

You title to this blog? "Voices Carry"? Well, this sure carries.
Will the real OBAMA PLEASE STAND UP! @ 8:17 pm
It is very unfortunate that some people do not have compassion for the women and men that are permanently traumatized by the brutal act of abortion.
