Apparently people in South Dakota are NOT tired of hearing about the plight of the unborn
Don't ask me how I arrived at the number three "most influential political blog in South Dakota" - I promise I won't let it go to my head, it'll surely change next week. But congratulations to Bob Ellis at Dakota Voice for taking the gold. Interesting that, this week, the gold and bronze medals go to pro-life bloggers in South Dakota. Apparently people in South Dakota are NOT tired of hearing about the plight of the unborn.

You make a good point that people aren't tired of hearing about the plight of the unborn; the pro-abortionists only want to convince people they're getting tired of hearing about it. Remember the old hypnotist's trick: "You are getting sleepy…veeeery sleepy…."
By the way, you may not know how you arrived at your blog ranking, but I have a pretty good idea: you offer intelligent, insightful and relevant commentary and discussion. And you point out useful information that might otherwise be missed.
Some folks don't like that, but plenty do. Keep up the good work!

Both you and Bob deserve kudos! Thank you for writing what so many of us believe.

The people of South Dakota want the truth, and they trust that they can get it from both of you. Thanks for all of your hard work. Please keep it up.

Just because I'm not tired of reading your opinions on abortion doesn't mean I agree with them. In fact, I think there are very few people with whom I agree less.
Perhaps the train wreck analogy is appropriate here…this blog is ugly and I don't *want* to see it, but I can't look away!

Bob, Four and Friend - I appreciate the kind words!
Angie, You "can't look away!" My prayers are starting to get answered - that is, my prayer that those who turn a blind eye to the plight of the unborn will have to stare in the face of this thing until their hard cold hearts soften to that which breaks the heart of the Author of Life
Let's see, is this blog *ugly* or is the sight of dismembered lifeless children *ugly*?? South Dakota's Last Abortion Doctor once told me when she was hovering over the sink at Planned Parenthood here in Sioux Falls counting body parts (because they have to make sure they get it all) she'd literally have to block out what she was doing or it would start to get to her.
Lord, I pray that Angie and all those like her will continue to have to face the reality of the innocent shed blood and their part in it.

Have you thought of adding music links? I can think of two songs (Tim McGraw's "Red Rag Top" and Ben Folds Five's "Brick") that lament the choice of abortion from the father's perspective.

Believe me, Steve: I think your blog is the pinnacle of ridiculous. You think the APA study is bogus, but you see the SD Task Force as anything more than biased junk?
It's incredibly arrogant of you to think (for whatever reason, though I have my theories) that you could change my mind, especially by throwing around crappy sound bites like "Abortion hurts women!" and trying to tell me that the SD Task Force was trying to do anything more than lay the groundwork for the ban.

I know this won't come as a surprise, but thought I should say it anyway… I think the blog is beautiful, well spoken and informative. Thank you for your time and effort that you put into blogging. It makes a difference.
