Barack, I've got a bracelet too.
You can see the moment here. At the first presidential debate the other night John McCain made reference to a bracelet that a fallen soldiers mother gave him to wear. Barack jumped in with "I've got a bracelet too." I knew something was up when Barack stuttered for several seconds trying to remember the name of the soldier his bracelet represents. You could tell it was near and dear to him. A little Twitter flurry happened moments later as my Bound4Life friends all looked down at their wrists and Twittered to their world… I GOT A BRACELET TOO BARACK!
Many of us have been wearing life bands for several years which serve as prayer prompters to pray seven times a day this 22 word prayer; “Jesus, I plead your Blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America.”
My friend Matt Lockett of Bound4Life (the folks who've prayed for years in front of the Supreme Court with red LIFE tape over their mouths) wrote this on his blog about this Barry's mention of his bracelet…
Since October 2004, we’ve mobilized about 325,000 people to wear the Life Band and make the solemn commitment to PRAY, VOTE & OBEY. Pray daily for the ending of abortion; Vote for pro-life candidates; Obey God as He leads in acts of compassion and justice. 325K isn’t massive, but it’s nothing to excuse either. I believe God is gripping His Church like never before to take a stand for life. Young and old, Catholic and Protestant, male and female. I’m noticing on blogs today pointing out that Obama had to stumble uh, uh, uh and read the name on the bracelet to remember what it’s actually for. That gaffe is of course NOT getting picked up by the media. Had it been Sarah Palin, we’d n-e-v-e-r hear the end of it. Rest assured, I will not be forgetting what my bracelet stands for on November 4th.
Here's where I shake my head even more at Barack Obama. Apparently, the mother of the dead soldier has written Obama to tell him to not wear the bracelet or mention her sons name to promote his stance on the war.

Think about it.
"Braceletgate" says EVERYTHING you need to know about the person who is Obama.

Yes, looks like Sgt. Jopek's mother is very upset about Obama's mention of the infamous bracelet during the debate.

For all of your tripe about Obama being unfit to lead, I'm curious to know what you think about Fey's hilarious SNL skit from this weekend. I'm even more curious to know what you think about Palin's even more hilarious (or terrifying) interview with Katie Couric.
