Better to be a blinker than a birther, or a proop

Note to candidates running for public office:

The lesson learned in South Dakota this past week is that if you want to get elected, don't even hint that you have any reservations about Obama's eligibility for the office of President of the United States. If you do, people from all sides will pounce on you as a wack job extraordinaire. Even if you don't consider yourself a birther but are just a bit suspicious as to why Obama has spent $1,352,378.95 on lawyers since the 2008 election on this birth certificate/college transcript non-issue, act like it's normal to spend millions on this even after officials with the state of Hawaii say this is a settled issue. Make it really, really clear that you think those who still wonder about his eligibility are dangerous loons.

If people ask you laughably imbecilic things like if it matters that Obama is using a Connecticut Social Security number issued in the 70's, react by changing the subject to what really matters to South Dakota. Do what Google is doing and divert inquiries on this topic elsewhere. Better yet, quote the President himself who commented in a commencement speech this week that all this type of stuff circulating online is a threat to democracy. Whatever you say, say something strong like you think we ought to start locking up anyone who is insane enough to ask questions about why Fox News, after interviewing 400 classmates and faculty, could find no one who remembers Obama at Occidental College between the years 1979 to 1981 .

Better to be a blinker than to be a birther.

Blinker is the term I just made up for those who remain blind to that which is blatantly suspicious or those who just close their eyes and look the other way. ((Klinker is my new term for the Obama kool-aid drinkers. Stinker is a nice term I reserve for those who have a bit of stupidity mixed in with the thoughts they think and espouse. Proop is my term for a progressive who is full of… ))
