Churchill author speaking at Tax Day Tea Party in Sioux Falls

Deborah Davis Brezina, author of "The Spirit of Churchill," will speak at the Tax Day Tea Party "Freedom Rally" here in Sioux Falls on Thursday night. I'm about halfway through her book and find myself longing for leaders of that caliber to emerge again. Obama is the antithesis of Churchill.
Perhaps you'll recall that our President had a bust of Churchill removed from the White House the first week he moved in. It is presumed he did so because of ill-feelings toward Churchill's suppression of a rebellion in his Kenyan homeland.
In any case, I hope that you will attend and spread the word. I'll try to get a new pic of myself in a tri-cornered hat as the one that keeps popping up here around the blogosphere from last years event makes me look like I'm three sheets to the wind. Here are some pics and commentary from the event last year.
Brezina serves on the National Advisory Board of the Churchill Archives Centre, Cambridge University, The International Advisory Board and Faculty of Summit Oxford Study Centre, Oxford University. She has been on the Oprah Winfrew Show. She has authored a high school curriculum entitled "Legacy of Liberty" which chronicles the philosophical and historical roots of government and law and traces the ancestral heritage of the liberty of men and nations.
This year's Tax Day Tea Party event takes place at the Downtown Holiday Inn City Centre and seated is limited so RSVP today at 605-332-1962. Admission is $15 and includes food, beverage and program. Abe Lincoln and other Patriots will be present, including yours truly - I will give the opening prayer. The event starts at 6:30 P.M. and ends at 9 P.M..

Beyond the Kenyan rebellion, Winston Churchill was an exceptional world leader. Unlike President Obama, he had the ability to see evil coming on the horizon and he had the courage to speak out boldly in warning. Obama is more the Neville Chamberlain appeasement type (and I fear I'm being too generous here) that lacked the courage to avert a war that cost millions of lives.
If any video is taken of her talk, let me know. I'd like to see it.
