Do they want to help patients or kill rats?

I suggest a name change for these folks who want to pass a clone and kill bill in South Dakota…

South Dakotans for Mutant Mice and Rats

Reporters need to start asking how many mice are better using embryonic stem cells.  The answer is these cells only produce tumors in mice and rats.  Do these people really want to help patients or do they want to kill rats? 

The limited research money should be going to what is helping patients now– adult stem cell research. If we really want people with diseases to get better, and we all do, then why divide up the limited research money and send half of it to futile, irresponsible and unethical science?
