Enough Already!
Can you stomach yet another post on voter fatigue in South Dakota on the subject of abortion? I'm tired of hearing about suicide on the Rosebud reservation (If you just heard of this today in the morning paper its because the Argus Leader waited until it became a "dire" problem before mentioning it! 213 attempts in the past year alone. Pastor Gabe Medicine Eagle started telling me about this when there were "only" twenty. By the way, he holds the answer, not government agencies in Washington.)
Where was I? Oh, and I'm tired of reading about creepy elected officials sexually exploiting children in South Dakota. And I'm tired of Planned Parenthood hiding sex crimes against minors and giving the perps a free pass to stay in business (if the attorney generals of America ever took hold of this and thousands of women step forward for $$$, PP will be bankrupt overnight). Pardon me for disgressing again…
I'm tired of people abusing and killing children and I have all the energy in the world to rise up and fight for them. The spirit of mama bear rises up in me even as I write. Don't mess with her cubs! Jesus said we'd be better off having a millstone tied around our neck and be thrown into the depth of the sea than do anything to hinder one of these little ones.
Abortion hinders children from reaching their destiny. In his first statement on the Senate floor after his stroke, Sen. Tim Johnson said:
"I better appreciate today what individuals and families go through when they face crippling hardship – whether that hardship be the consequence of catastrophic health issues, economic hardship, or lack of an opportunity to reach one’s full potential in life."
Lack of opportunity to reach one's full potential in life? Does this mean he now has an appreciation for the plight of the unborn and a sense of regret that he lent his voice in October '06 to continue killing them. Probably not.
How long before God says, "Enough already!" ? That's the real question.
