Wish in one hand and pee in the other, and see which one fills first.

No, "bankrupting a nation" belongs on the resumes of GWBush and Dick Cheney.

On Obama's resume, it should be "failing to resurrect a bankrupt nation".

It seems like he (Plus Congress) is sprinting down the path to way outspent GWB (Plus Republican Congress), and it doesn't look like it he is going to slow down any time soon.

How are doing on your Chinese Culture / Language studies? You may need them very soon!

I have another line to add to his resume - Fiction Author and or Great Deceiver.

We may want to subtract two lines from his current resume.

1) Messiah
2) Agent of Hope and Change

I especially like the part where he thanked himself (because it was on the teleprompter)… I think that even Bush functioned better than that. And you say he is the dumb one.

What do I say to that? I'll happily mock it all day long.

This "controvery" over Obama's teleprompter that conservatives keep talking about is hilariously stupid. Do you expect the President of the United States to memorize all his speeches? Once again, conservativers have a poor grasp on reality. Do you believe that Marxist propaganda magically appears on the teleprompter without Obama's knowldege? In reality, Obama has a team of speech writers just like every other president. But, unlike many presidents, Obama actually writes some of his own speeches. So, on those occassions, he's reading his own words on the teleprompter.

And you seem to forget that President Bush used a teleprompter (though that didn't seem to stop his verbal gaffes). In fact, it was revealed that they had to spell things phonetically on the teleprompter for him so he wouldn't mess the words up.

As for Palin, I disagree that she can function without a teleprompter. Remember that convention speech she gave that Republicans loved? She used a teleprompter. But the times she didn't use one were the times she said stupid things like during the Katie Couric interview.

(Having said that, I definately want Palin to win the Republican presidential nomination for 2012. That's the best way to guarantee another term for President Obama.)

So please keep talking about Obama's teleprompter. It's really funny when you do.

I do not expect a president to memorize a speech. I do expect him to have enough common sense to understand what it is that he is saying… ergo thanking himself is pretty dumb.

If you go back and listen to him speak without a teleprompter he sounds like a stumbling bumbling idiot (kind of like how George Bush sounded). The only difference is Bush got branded by the media as being an idiot because the media despised him. Obama on the other hand is loved by the media so he is given a pass.

When you talk about the interviews Palin had with media talking heads you do not compare the content from both parties. The media was and has been in the bag for the Dems for some time now. They throw softball touchy feely things at the Dems and make up Doctrines that do not exist to ask questions about for the Repubs.

For your comment on the 2012 election you have forgotten that we are now in the midst of a huge crisis and we have the wrong party with too much control. We will be lucky to have a presidential election or if we do have an election to say that it is of any importance. We have stopped selling our sovereignty and now we are on the path to just give it away.

That is where the Dems want us to be… Can you speak Chinese yet? You should take lessons. Thanks A lot Obama (Maybe the Chinese built his teleprompter) Hmmm interesting thought! (that is a joke by the way)

Accidentally thanking onesself because the teleprompter didn't advance the script is LOL funny and hugely revealing with regard to Obama's inability to express himself articulately off the cuff.

I've spoken outdoors at camps and had my notes blow away, other times I forgot my notes and spoke anyway, and lost pages of my notes, and the true test is if the speaker can continue without missing a beat. Obama would be lost.

Yet, last September Sarah Palin found herself under the enormous pressure of speaking before a world audience and her teleprompter kept advancing when she paused waiting for the applause to stop - she didn't miss a beat.

Exactly Steve what Haggs also misses out of the whole debate is over whom is smarter etc… Is who has a stronger moral base and who has integrity?

Obama misses big time on both of those fundamental leadership qualities where Palin excels.

Obama may be smart, but I feel he is lazy, dishonest, he has no moral fiber to guide his decisions, and he definitely is not honest.

Give me a leader with a base in morality and one who has strong integrity over a pretty face, charming demeanor, and slick speeches any day.
