I'm not so bad after all
I just posted another accolade of me, and now this… 'tis the season to be nice to me?
Peace on earth and goodwill to men has come a few weeks early here in the South Dakota blogosphere. Check it out here, Todd Epp and I are exchanging kindnesses and I'm all verklempt, really, I'm touched that he's touched - somewhere in our exchanges God graced us. And Epp articulates the goodwill that makes the world go around. I'd like to think I've matured and toned down the intensity of my rhetoric in these past couple years of fighting the good fight on this blog. I can report that Cory and I are on good terms. I've even had the thought to invite over Eggbert and the fella's at South DaCola to share some of Grammy Gumption's eggnog. Maybe I will when some of this global warming subsides and we can go outside again.
You'll really know the lion is laying down with the lamb when we see Pat Powers and Sibby singing yuletide harmonies together under the mistletoe. Or, when the Dakota Faux Fem's start thinking first of all the children of the world. BTW, I've noticed their blog has gone dormant—– word on the street is "the lesbians are fighting."
So, as you can see, all is not yet calm.

Don't get too big a head, Steve: you're still a threat to liberty, science, and democracy… not to mention my nefarious plan to redistribute America into a Stalinist/Huxleyist dystopia.

Thanks for allowing Jesus to shine though you Steve. Your prayer was not of flesh and blood but by the Spirit & Power.

'Tis the season.
But you may not wnat to invite Eggbert over. All the eggnog that family drinks this time of year makes 'em all antsy in their pantsy.

So now all progressive women are lesbians? Keep it classy, Steve.
Steve @ 10:41 am
Guest - Did I imply all progressive women are lesbians? No. A lecture on "classy" from someone sympathetic to the DW blog makes me laugh. This from those who say "suck it" and stuff far far worse.

I guess I'm a little confused about what it is about DW that make you think "lesbian"?
Also, it's one thing to use harsh language, it's quite another to make unfounded remarks regarding one's sexuality, especially in a way seemingly meant to come off as derogatory.

Guest - what does "word on the street" mean to you? Right or wrong, I decided to parrot what I'm hearing and, like it or not, the word on the street is the lesbians are fighting. To answer your question - that DW is a site written by angry women who hate men and that fact makes some think lesbian. You can interpret it as derogatory or as a statement of fact. But come on, surely there is never any derogatory stuff on DW toward anyone who differs from their point of view.
