Incapable of telling SD women truth, Planned Parenthood seeks injunction
Kudos to the state of South Dakota for actually holding Planned Parenthood's feet to the fire and making sure they are complying with our Informed Consent law requiring Planned Parenthood tell each abortion bound women that "the abortion will terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being" and women who proceed are at greater risk for things like suicide ideation.
State health officials report now the forms Planned Parenthood is using do not comply with the law and they face sanctions. Rather than tell women the truth, Planned Parenthood is seeking another injunction hoping the court will better favor them this time.
Good luck there, if you will recall, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Planned Parenthood was able to provide NO EVIDENCE contrary to the statement that the life of a whole, separate, unique living human being is terminated in an abortion. Read that again, it's not that they provided insufficient or unconvincing evidence, they were able to provide NO EVIDENCE.
That is because there is NO SCIENTIFIC WIGGLE ROOM on this matter anymore. In 1973 at the time of Roe v Wade the matter of when human life began wasn't settled scientifically. Today it is. Conception doesn't produce a duck or a frog or a blog of tissue. It produces a human life with full rights under the law. To stay in business, those who sell abortions must treat women with 1973-science and technology. Things like 4D sonograms and advances in molecular biology and fetology make Planned Parenthood's case impossible. And, the winner is women and children.
This is a crap shoot and they are stalling for time until President Obortion saves them by stacking the court with even more death-driven ideologues in black robes.
Planned Parenthood is incapable of telling women the truth. And so we learn they don't just botch procedures, they can't even do the paperwork right. Maybe the Argus can do a follow up story on the level of training in the Sioux Falls Plannned Parenthood staff. Depositions in the Informed Consent case show one of the "counselors" didn't even graduation high school. Why, the former director Kate Looby, had no idea how many chromosomes were in the human body. Sad that we need the courts to make sure Planned Parenthood acts like a legit health provider and that we need a court to make an abortionist act like a real doctor.
I was hoping they'd keep pushing this in the Courts - it'll be all the better having an even higher Court rule in the matter.
