Introducing Michelle Trupiano - a non-South Dakotan, SD abortion ban foe
UPDATED
The Argus Leader today has this headline… Foes take aim at abortion. Maybe you, like I, are wondering… who are these foes? The Argus then goes on to name one; Michelle Trupiano, campaign manager for South Dakota Campaign for UNHealthy Families. But, that's all they tell us. I appreciate my USF student friends who forward this background info on Trupiano to me. To them I say —- keep fighting the good fight!
Trupiano isn't a South Dakota resident - she has no address listing in our state. She's a lobbyist for Planned Parenthood from Missouri, a 2002 graduate from Saint Louis University. Trupiano was still issuing statements for Planned Parenthood in
An abortion lobbyist. Just what SD needs. Someone who lobbies to pull arms off living babies and crush their skulls. Go home Trupiano! Dr. Tiller the baby killer needs you right now. This is a woman who defends the indefensible/that which is incapable of being justified or explained away via rationalization, and a woman who callously ignores the cries of the innocent and defenseless.

It is very sad to see a member of the Roe vs. Wade generation, a survivor of the abortion holocaust and someone who probaly comes from an Italian Catholic family support the killing of unborn children.
The best thing to do apart from voting for McCain is to vote for Republican House and Senate candidates. If Obama takes power, it is critically important to hold as many Republican Senate seats as possible. They may represent the only firewall we will have to stop this man from doing great damage to our society.
Everybody please tell all your friends, neighbors and like-minded people to vote Republican for every office. Tell them Republican Senate seats are absolutely critical.

Harold Cassidy. A crazy, anti-choice, East Coastal lawyer. Just what SD needs. Someone who has his hands in litigation across the nation that restricts women's options and autonomy. Go home Cassidy!
You're silly, Steve.
Steve @ 8:29 am
Harold hasn't moved here to manage the campaign. No he needs to stay where he is to keep a close watch on the high priests of Planned Parenthood. Without guys like Harold fighting them tooth and nail, PP would be putting one year olds on altar and slitting their throats by now (with "Constitutional" protection and fully covered by government health care dollars). The women of America would ALL be walking around in the burqa's of regret and grief and pain. The Bible talks about those days - rachel's weeping and the weeping of women worldwide - why?? - "pregnant wombs that did not bare."
I'm going to turn my NAMI friends on to you ladies - I thought you were more "PC" than to recklessly throw around the word "crazy" like you do
Nikole @ 8:38 am
That Girl — I don't get it. How could have obviously read the last post that Steve put up about the economic impact that abortion is having on our country and yet you still defend it to the death of you. (and to the death of babies) I not only hold Fannie and Feddie accountable for the economic mes we're in… I think pro-aborts are part of the mess as well.
You scream "womens options" every chance you get. First, women don't have to sleep around in the first place - that would be option number one. Second, at what point (in your book) does the living baby get a chance at it's options?
At what point is it illegal to kill other people because they are an inconvenience? Is it ok to kill a 2 month old because they're an inconvenience? What about a 2 year old? What about a 30 year old? When is it no longer ok to kill people?? Because you know that is why women are killing their babies. They don't want to be inconvenienced. Forget the priveledge it is to be a parent, right? Forget the reward that goes with it. Forget the fact that there are women fighting infertility and crying themselves to sleep at night because they long to have a baby and the mother down the street didn't want her baby so she killed it. Don't mind any of that… right?
I think you're silly, That Girl.
That Girl @ 11:16 am
"Women don't have to sleep around in the first place."
So, you're basically calling people like Leslee Unruh and Karen Nelson slutty? Just wondering.
I'm not averse to alternate my use of "crazy" Steve, but I'm yet to find something that matches the accuracy of it.
Travis @ 1:27 pm
To All Pro-Choice Liberals -
I am dumbfounded your blatant lack of consistency in your Liberal Left Agenda. Here you are in our state screaming and hollering about keeping Government out of our lives, let us decide what is best for us, by letting us have abortions on demand with no restrictions.
Yet the same people will turn around and say we need the ruse of Universal Health Care so that the government can take care of all of our health care needs.
That’s right they say government shouldn’t be involved in their health care when it pertains to ending a human life, (which, by the way, is completely within the jurisdiction of Government Intervention, in fact, protecting people’s lives is the number one responsibility of our Government), unless the question is about funding the termination of a life, then by all means Government should be involved.
Yet, when it comes to deciding what doctor I see, or what procedures are approved, or when or if I can get treatment for something, then you believe the Government should be in complete control.
The agenda doesn’t stop at Health Care. They believe that the Government should be in control of all aspects of our lives, with very limited or absolutely no personal responsibilities for our actions.
To sum this up for you they believe that the Government should control almost all aspects of your life, (Health, Wealth, Property Ownership, and shielding you from any and all personal responsibility), except when they try to do what is actually written in the Constitution (protect Human Life, Liberty, and Property).
Oh Heavenly Father, author of all existence, how did we get ourselves to this point?
Oh yea that is right, we kicked God out of our Lives and Country, and in the process our Morality left as well!
Nikole @ 2:55 pm
That Girl - I am not calling anyone names like "slutty" - I am saying that if you are not willing to accept the outcome that could come from making a decision like sleeping with someone then you should not do it in the first place. That is a choice, now isn't it?
I do find it interesting that you didn't answer ANY of my questions though.
Complete Faith @ 3:06 pm
I find it funny that the Pro.Baby Killers want Government funding to Kill the baby's but doesn't want the Government to ask why…

I want to comment Michelle Trupiano for her courageous and much-needed efforts in SD. She is a great influence to women of our generation. To all of you avid, extreme pro-lifers, there is a middle ground. No one wants to see abortion; we want to focus on PREVENTION and EDUCATION. While we fight with eachother, nothing is accomplished. While I think that women should always have reproductive freedom, I do think that something that we all agree on is prevention. Let's teach kids comprehensive sex ed, where to get contraceptives, to wear condoms and be responsible so there are less unintended pregnancies and then less abortions.
To the issue of "sleeping around": Don't dumb yourselves down and put all blame on women. A single woman having a child and raising it alone is the single largest predictor/indicator of lifetime poverty. The issue must be solved on a larger level.
FIGHT LESS. FOCUS MORE ON PREVENTION. No more ridiculous abstinence only sex ed. It doesn't work. Let's inform our young people. Prevent unintended pregnancy. Vote Obama 08.
Michelle Fan @ 3:48 pm
oops, I meant: "I want to commend…" not "I want to comment.." Thanks.
