Landslide for McCain, no debate about it
What have I been telling you? A major pollster now says this election could end in an electoral landslide.
"Essentially the election is at equilibrium," said John Zogby, president of Zogby International. "This election will stay close until the end." Zogby said he thinks the race will turn in the last weekend before Election Day and though the popular vote will be tight, the successful candidate will win in a landslide.
He likened this year's election to the contest in 1980, when Ronald Reagan defeated President Jimmy Carter. "This may be and probably is the most important election in our lifetime," Zogby said. "I don't say that lightly."
I've been saying this won't even be close and that hope is on the horizon for the unborn. Watch and see.
Obama is a follower. McCain is a leader. Obama is a movie star not a history maker. He bumbles without his prompter. McCain leads from within - Country First. It's obvious. At the White House bailout meeting yesterday, Obama looked like a little kid who got to sit at the table with the big boys. He's done. I love the Sean Hannity line from yesterday… "[Obama didn't] want to go because he can't get away with just voting 'present' this time." He about voted "absent." He'll be gone soon.
Obama, wanting to run from this to focus on his struggling campaign actually said, "if you need me, if I can be helpful, give me a call." LOL. Can you imagine the leading financial experts of our nation sitting at a table saying does anyone have Barry's number, maybe he can help us?
If there is no debate tonight it's because McCain decided not to show up. He's not following anyone's lead here. But keep this in perspective. Obama has avoided debates with McCain all summer. McCain offered ten townhall meeting debates with Obama. Obama ran from those debates choosing instead to go speak to private groups of elites at San Francisco fundraisers about the bitter people who clings to guns and religion.
We are learning more about these two watching them this week than we would at any debate where they open their mouths and say what they think we want to hear. What I'm seeing is McCain wanting to work putting country first. Obama, having no experience in any bi-partisan effort of any kind, has nothing to contribute.

Pretty sure it was Zogby that did polling for Amendment E in 2006, predicting a "landslide" of people voting for that whackjob amendment.
And we all know how that turned out.
