Momentum: God's Ever-Increasing Kingdom
Here's shameless plug for my new book "Momentum: God's Ever-Increasing Kingdom" which was released on Tuesday. I had a blast seeing 1000 pastors get free copies at a conference last week in North Carolina!
The book is about how the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed - you know the parable… it starts as the smallest seed yet it grows into the largest of the garden plants, an enormous tree providing a resting place for the birds of the air. The book talks about how God's Kingdom will ultimately permeate every sphere of society (like leaven effecting the entire loaf).
It's packed full of encouragement and insight for pro-life leaders and church leaders and anyone who wants to see great increase in the ministry in which God has called them to labor. One leader said the chart on page 113 alone is worth the price of the book. There I name 23 things that stifle momentum and 23 things that stoke it.
It's available at Amazon and all the other usual outlets but you can get it even cheaper here. If you have a blog, I'll send a second copy to you for free (for your pastor/priest, staff or leadership teams) if you devote a blog post to it with a link back to the MomentumHandbook.com website. Huge thanks to Strang/Creation House for publishing a second book of mine. It's extremely difficult to get published the first time and even harder to get published the second time (as they consider first books sales). I'm honored.
Here's a taste for pro-lifers of what's in it. Though the book has much for those leading pro-life ministries, it's obviously not an "abortion book." However, in a chapter called "Small Beginnings" I illustrate how momentum starts small and how critical that early stage is to what ultimately comes forth. As you might have suspected I couldn't resist the opportunity to underscore the importance of guarding unborn human life…
Fetology is the study of the development of unborn human life. We now know that the first two weeks after conception are the days babies grow the fastest. These are days even before the mother knows she is pregnant. Everything important is being imparted during this time, yet none it is visible to the naked eye because it is so small. But Dr. Suess was right, "A person's a person no matter how small!" If a baby continued to grow through the rest of the pregnancy at the rate it grows during the first two weeks, it would be born at twenty-eight thousand pounds! My sense is that God is growing a whole lot in us and in our churches during these formative stages.
Surely you are connecting the dots on some of this and noting the implications of these advances in fetology on the future of abortion. It is true that if the Supreme Court would have had access in 1973 to the science we have today - which unequivocally concludes that a separate, living human being is the product of conception- Roe v. Wade would not be the law of the land. That same evil spirit (Molech) that seeks to devour little children in the womb has a cousin who seeks to kill everything of the kingdom while it is yet in utero. Do not let the adversary delude you into rejecting the little things in your midst.
Revelation 12 tells us the dragon waits at the time of birth to devour what God is about to bring forth. Every new work, every new church, every new initiative, every new leader, every new idea, every new thing is vulnerable in these early stages of development…. (pages 50-51)
You can order it here. This is a book for you, your pastor or priest, colleagues in the fight for LIFE! Feedback is welcome!

Theodor Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss) was strongly pro-choice. He once threatened to sue a right-to-life organization for using his line "A person's a person, no matter how small!"
And he wrote a book about ownership of ones body and the right to get rid of unwelcome residents therein (THIDWICK, THE BIG-HEARTED MOOSE).
And fetal personhood does not matter. If something or someone is inside my body, then I'm entitled to have it killed, no matter what or who it is. If all the people in the world–innocent and guilty, unborn and already-born, great and small, rich and poor, smart and stupid–were assembled somewhere inside my body, then I'd be entitled to holocaust 'em at will. That's part of the meaning of the word "my" in the phrase "my body".

Steve, did you know that Dr. Suess didn't agree with pro-life groups using his material?
According to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horton_Hears_a_Who!
"Several pro-life groups have adopted the phrase in support of their views. Geisel himself did not approve of these groups co-opting the phrase, nor does his widow, Audrey Geisel, who "doesn't like people to hijack Dr. Seuss characters or material to front their own points of view." [5] According to Geisel biographer Philip Nel, Geisel threatened to sue a pro-life group for using his words on their stationery. [6]"

Grace - Yes I did know that. SO WHAT?
I'm against TORTURING people no matter how small they are… are you?
Go away.
FYI… DrSeussFan is also known as SoMG and Zombie. I only allowed his comment because it illustrates how extreme and selfish these people are.

Grace & Zombie -
I think it is wonderful how God uses the words of a man who is against God, (at least on the issue of sacrificing innocent life), to promote what his agenda, (raising children), in such a graceful and wonderful manner.
Just another example of God using Bad for Good! I love him soooooo much, he truly is the loving master!
Glory Be to the God who sees us, no matter how small!
