More "Fun" with South Dakota Planned Parenthood's new slogan - Let Families Decide

Oh, the hypocrisy of Planned Parenthood's new slogan here in South Dakota - Let Families Decide. I have more to say about it here. Here is my second submission to their "fun photo contest" which recently got underway to help launch their new slogan.

I have a teenage daughter so I have an opinion on this - a strong one. And it just so happens that the vast majority of South Dakotans also have the same opinion as I - I guess that puts me in the mainstream and Planned Parenthood in the EXTREME. Here's the issue… do you think your daughter should be able to have an abortion without your knowledge? Planned Parenthood does. They also believe girls should be able to be transported across state lines to abortion clinics by school guidance counselors and others WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS EVER KNOWING. It gets worse, attorney generals are investigating them in several states for refusing to report suspected cases of child sex abuse and statutory rape.

They not only want to keep families out of "their BUSINESS." (And, it IS about big business, not the welfare of women or children, that's just a front). They want government out (except they would like for taxpayers to continue giving them 335 million dollars a freakin year). They want parents out. I'm convinced we see through this in South Dakota and that their attempt here to piggy back off the strong South Dakota value of less government involvement will not succeed, indeed I forecast it will backfire. Parents, if you want to see how Planned Parenthood is irresponsibly marketing abortion and sexual activity to your kids check their new website for teenagers - takecaredownthere.org. It's pathetically immature to say the least. It's deadly as well (especially for the "products of conception"). But therein lies Planned Parenthood's profit. And you, parents, are noticeably absent from the entire conversation.

Right now taxpayers are paying dearly to have Planned Parenthood marginalize a parent's place in the most important matters of their child's life. And yet now, they have the audacity to trumpet this theme - Let Families Decide. The government needs to quit funding them altogether and we need to vote this organization off the planet.

Check out the picture Shannon posted today. It's the family having Christmas dinner. Do you suppose all of those people are thinking about the family members who are NOT around that table because they chose to kill them instead? I would be so ashamed if that was a photo of my family.

friend - I saw it. We ought to start a caption contest for each of their photos. I found the first comment (ashley b) in their contest announcement post to be piteous.

Here's my caption for Monday's photo:

"Thank God Jan Nicolay isn't my mom, or I may not have been here to enjoy this wonderful celebration."

I'm assuming you got copyright permission from the studio that produced 'Juno' to post this picture? Right?
