Native American Day in SD… CHILDREN ARE SACRED!!
Here in South Dakota we don't celebrate Columbus Day. Today is Native American Day.
Native American's believe all life is sacred - Wakan yeja is a common cultural expression that means "children are sacred." Here's part of a postcard that was sent out in 2006…
I thought you'd enjoy a few pics from '06. The first is of my good Pastor Gabe Medicine Eagle sitting on a tailgate. Standing next to him is Pastor Gus Craven from Mission, SD. Gabe helped spearhead the 2006 Children are Sacred efforts on the reservations. The media ought to go ask Gabe about the teenage suicides on his rez (Rosebud) and the spiritual dynamics behind the spirit of death that plagues his people - he'll tell you how abortion is part of that spirit of death and disparagement that is on native young people
The second picture here is Gabe and I after speaking at a rally at the state capital in Pierre. This was a few minutes after Gabe told the crowd (referring to how Pine Ridge drove out those who profit from killing native children)… "Now if us uncivilized savages can make that declaration (that all life is sacred), then you civilized white people should be able to do the same thing here in the state of South Dakota!!"
A one minute with either of these three ladies and you'd know abortion is the last thing needed on these reservations. For them it's all about the children.
Here's one of Pastor William Red Bear - the great great grandson of Chief Sitting Bull speaking at a Children are Sacred gathering on the Lower Brule reservation. You can guess what he said about his forefathers and the sacred value they placed on life in all it's forms and stages. Chief Oliver Red Cloud, direct decendant of Chief Red Cloud, was also at this meeting and spoke strongly about how killing children in the womb is wrong.
Here's a couple of Senator Sam Brownback (KS) speaking and sporting a Children are Sacred button. In the sitting down picture are Nigeal Big Pond, some white pastor 
, Bruce Whalen, Sen. Sam Brownback, Vi & Gabe Medicine Eagle. Senator Brownback has been a great blessing leading the way in terms of getting the government to apologize to natives for genocide and the shedding of innocent blood.
I'm happy to say I'm friends with native leaders on every South Dakota Indian reservation and they could use your help right now fighting the Campaign for UNHealthy Families who are once again targeting the "dysgenic" races (to quote their beloved founder) for more abortion.
Maybe a little painful satire will further expose the darkness of their hearts…

yeah PROLIFE Native Americans ROCK … i am of Cherokee heritage and America needs to abort "Planned Parenthood" the organzation … "Children are Sacred" … love this article … thanks

Hello, I am not a Native American from USA. I am Mexican by birth and most probably descendant from the Mayan culture (I still need to confirm this). The reason for this message is: Who killed God and made the "white man" ruler?. By God I speak of He/She/It responsible for this planet. I am a Catholic but share a belief that we are all equal before God and that like many Native American stories say plants, animals and rocks have spirits, names and a purpose in our life cycle. So why is the "white man" so determined to erase us all who are not like him? why does he think he is right? And here I am talking about all atrocities committed against the minorities "for their own good", "because we know best", "because we are more civilized". Witch hunts, Inquisition, Colonization, Slave Camps during the Nazi period… and the worst part is that the young people who listen to this garbage still believe it!!!, wake up and don't just smell the roses, protect them. But don't put them in reservoirs in the hope they will die. Spread the seeds, the wisdom, the ideas, let their children grow proud and strong in the knowledge of where they come from and that it is ALL OUR RESPONSIBILITY to make this a better place for the next generations. How many children per family? Who are you to decide? What gives you the right to chose for me and mine? If you want to have only 1 or 2 children … good for you. Let me be. You don't want "weeds" in this OUR garden (earth) make sure your own patch of dirt is healthy. "Weeds" are created, they are not born. They are created by fear, blindness, stupidity in the belief that just because our skin is a different color and we believe in different sides of the same coin we are different. Of course not all white people are "white man", but where are you white people who share our thoughts when your brother "white man" speaks up? why is it his voice the only one heard? Speak up Earth and defend your children!.
