Palin's popularity surpasses and outlasts the short-lived wave of Obamania

Lots of speculation these days about what Sarah Palin is up to on her book tour, especially eighty miles south of here in Sioux City, Iowa and here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Local KELO blogger Todd Epp found it frustrating I gave him a non-answer to his question yesterday …

So inquiring minds want to know: Did Pastor Steve squire Gov. Palin around Siouxland and the Sioux Empire?  If so, that's actually pretty cool. And says something interesting about America's Most Famous Hockey Mom.

Huh? What is that last sentence supposed to mean?  ((I think my lefty cyber-colleague Mr. Epp is just secretly sad he didn't get a pic of he and the Gov for his controversial hot babe pic collection.))

One thing is for certain, Palin's rock star status has far surpassed and now has outlasted the irrational Obamania that mystically possessed our national psyche for a short period (of insanity). While Barry's numbers continue to plummet, Palin's popularity is soaring off the charts. Joe Biden wasn't able to get 200 people to a venue for his book tour signing. Palin has more than that number camping outside in single digit weather 36 hours before her visits.

Amazed by what he was seeing in terms of grass roots support, Fox News commentator Carl Cameron said Sunday– "I would have driven here to see this." If the left doesn't open their eyes soon, this freight train that is building momentum in America (from tea parties to Sarah Palin) is going to squish them flat. Millions of Americans are mobilizing to take the country back. I agree with Billy Graham - God is using Palin to wake up America.

And, you gotta love her sense of humor in Washington at the Gridiron winter dinner the other night.
