Planned Parenthood gets religion?!

It's long been my message that abortion is a spiritual matter, more on that in a minute. What's new is to hear the anti-life zealots in South Dakota start to admit it.  It seems Planned Parenthood has suddenly "got religion."  Jan Nicolay, Co-Chair of the South Dakota Campaign for UNHealthy Families said recently

Families know their own unique circumstances best, but this ban would strip families of a private, moral decision between themselves and their pastors.

Did you catch that last word? Maybe this is a hint that Nicolay is backing off the tired and untrue language about this being a decision between a woman and her doctor. The 8th Circuit Court saw there was no such thing as a doctor-patient relationship when it comes to abortion. Since that has come to light, now Nicolay shifts to this being between a woman and her pastor. Interesting. I'm watching this closely.Earlier this spring I attended a meeting of the Pastors for IMmoral Choices where a mainline denomination pastor from Sioux Falls (Rev. Marcia Sietstra) made the comment that there were ten denominations that supported a women's right to choose. Then this little comment came forth

There will be denominations filing lawsuits if a ban is passed into law because this is a freedom of religion issue.

I strongly agree abortion is a religious issue. The ancient demonic spirit of child sacrifice spoken of in the Bible (Molech) is still fed today by blood sacrifice. If it bothers you that I say abortion is child sacrifice, let me connect some dots… child sacrifice is merely when a parent sacrifices a child in hopes to secure a better life for themselves and their families. So, abortion is very much a religious matter, it's THE sacrament of the godless left. But, even here in the land of religious liberty (or what's left of religious liberty) some religious practices are rightfully illegal. Human sacrifice is illegal. Child sacrifice is illegal. Despite what the anti-lifers say, there is no right to abortion in the Constitution. But there is the freedom of religion. So, it looks as if they are going to try this angle too to justify the killing of children.

I'm glad Planned Parenthood is conceeding this is fully religious, but our religious liberties stop short of harming other people. Abortion harms women - the South Dakota Task Force on Abortion received testimony from 2000 women that they were lied to and that abortion hurt them. God has much to say about harming children. His concern is for orphans and widows. Orphans are children without parents (that want them). Bring me unwanted children and I will take care of them. The Bible calls that pure religion. Planned Parenthood says, no, bring us the unwanted ones and we will spill their blood so their parents can perhaps have a better life. It's child sacrifice.

I cannot believe that pp has a video about taking care down there! I was appauled! In one of the clips they are advocating homosexual relations and the others are so sexually irrresponsible it's horrific! God, let our hearts break over the sexual immorality. It's got to stop and I am so disgusted that kids are being targeted. Church…wake up! Church…wake up! Church…wake up!!

Although Shannon has been posting all letters to the editor at standupsd.blogspot.com, have you noticed she didn't post the letter that was in Saturday's Argus written by Dianne Heynan? Planned Parenthood doesn't have the truth on their side, and are unable to refute the fact that reporting rape and incest can help the victim begin to heal and brings an end to the crime, and does NOT re-victimize the victim, as they would like to fool us into believing.

friend - I didn't notice, but I know Dianne well and just decided to make a post here on this blog featuring Dianne's letter to the editor. Thanks
