Planned Parenthood Sioux Falls was closed this morning?! Hmm.
It was anything but a typical Monday morning at South Dakota's only abortuary. (Today was compliance day.) Five women arrived for appointments and found the doors were closed and locked. Hmm. All eventually left, one came back, left again. One went to the Alpha Center and got the straight scoop on other options besides killing her baby. Now she'll be able to make a better choice. Another talked to one of the Bound4Life (South Dakota chapter) prayer team members praying at the clinic at 8:15 this morning and she was weeping. She said she had an appointment for an abortion at 8:30 AM. Mondays are typically busy days there - full parking lot. Today, it was very quiet. Two staff cars were in the lot but no one came to the door. The women who walked up to the locked doors seemed confused.
Aren't we being told Planned Parenthood cares about women? Nonsense. I'm telling you the respectability facade over this organization is lifting. These women weren't even notified the clinic would not be able to "serve" them today. Planned Parenthood is in CYA mode - they don't care about women - this is big business. It's not medicine - it's not health care - this is a cartel that kills and covers their trail.
You'll recall that today Planned Parenthood in South Dakota had to start complying with the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals Informed Consent ruling by telling women seeking abortion that they were terminating the life of a unique separate living human being. It's fully speculation as to what is happening today but it's likely two things happened. Either a) the Minneapolis doctors who fly in here on Mondays to kill babies decided to boycott the ruling and not show up because they couldn't bring themselves to dispense what they believe to be ideological charged information.
I remind you Planned Parenthood was not able to provide ANY information to the 8th Circuit Court that a fetus wasn't, biologically speaking, anything other than a separate, unique living human being. It's also possible b) the doctors are being held up by the lawyers. I know they are scrambling right now trying to do anything but comply with the language of the ruling. In any case, I thought you'd enjoy seeing this sign taped to the window this morning at the "clinic" here in Sioux Falls.
This photo was taken at 9:30 AM and the doors were still not open. The taped-on sign says they plan to close today at 3:00 P.M. The two staff cars were still there at 1 PM but no one brought in the doctor as is typical for today. All the flights into Sioux Falls this morning were on schedule.
Locals will remember the defiant banner they hung out in the fall of '06 - "THESE DOORS WILL REMAIN OPEN." Folks, they were closed today. They'll probably open tomorrow, but what we are seeing is the courts start to shut this dark regime down. The media tried to get into Planned Parenthood to do a story on them complying with the 8th Circuit ruling and I'm told that request was denied.
Not a good day for Ms. Looby for sure. It appears major confusion has indeed hit their camp. South Dakota Campaign for UNHealthy Families kick off their "Campaign to Kill" this weekend was hardly a success - a dozen people max showed up here in Sioux Falls for the door-to-door canvassing. (I'm sure Ms. Stoesz from the PP Headquarters in Minneapolis will now do more than send $100,000 and resort again to busing Minnesota anti-life college kids here on the weekends to do the campaigns door to door work.) As the door to door canvassing was to get underway, the city was hit with two inches of rain which unfortunately sent everyone out to enjoy the JazzFest home. It surely put a damper on the door-to-door canvassing.
I'm reminded of British General Cornwallis who surrendered because he figured out he couldn't fight Providence. Providence v. Planned Parenthood is indeed under way. I know who will win. May the chariots of those seeking to kill the children of God get stuck in the South Dakota mud.

Pastor Steve:
When I was at the PP abortion business this morning, I noticed that a piece of the facade of the building on the east (parking lot) side was pulling up. I heard the Lord say "The demonic facade covering up their (PP's) bad deeds is lifting."
I noted that the piece of facade is literally coming off from the bottom up.
I was interested to note your similar choice of words. That the facade of respectability over PP is lifting. Indeed.

In the KELO story online today they confirm the PP abortion business said they "were not seeing patients today." The best thing about the KELO story is the sounds of the kids playing in the back ground. You can hear a baby crying at the beginning of the story.

Great news guys! Just received the email notice from voteyesforlife.com with the update. Will keep ya'all in our prayers. My brother did a hard hitting article on abortion aimed at Christians supporting this. Feel free to add this to your ammunition in defense of this.

Odd. At a National Abortion Federation meeting (I listened to years of tapes!) "counselors" discussed how they handled informed consent laws, and uniformly the strategy was to say something like, "We are required by law to present you with a pack of lies made up by antichoice religious fanatics trying to frighten and intimidate you into not exercising your right to choose. Would you like to review these false and misleading materials?"
So why wouldn't this PP do the same? To go through their usual sales pitch then, right before she signs the papers, say, "By the way, South Dakota recently had a law pushed through by religious zealots, requiring that we present their biased, dogmatic religious opinions to you as if they were scientific facts. You have to listen to this religious dogma in order to obtain your necessary reproductive health care services. Please disregard what I am about to say, and keep in mind that I am saying it to you under duress, against my judgment and conscience."
Come on, they're used to lying and finagling. Why should this stump them?

Christina,
Perhaps they're finally getting stumped because their lies have been both scientifically and legally refuted. It's not zealotry, it's science that the DNA of the child is unique at CONCEPTION and therefore IS a unique human being AT THE TIME OF CONCEPTION. That's not dogmatic, religious opinions but SCIENCE (backing up what we religious folks knew all along). PP is at a much more serious crossroad than they've faced before, the legal "mis-readings" by the Supreme Court in Roe v Wade and (more importantly) Doe v Bolton have been destroyed by the scientific advancements of the past 35 years. The SC tried to base legal arguements on "known science" circa 1973 but even then allowed for future scientific advancements to allow nullification of their rulings. The future is NOW!

In response to :
"Providence v. Planned Parenthood is indeed under way."
I had a dream a number of months ago in which I was expecting someone to visit my home and I was awaiting a phone call from him. In the dream he was an actual person, his name was Providence and I woke up hearing "Providence is coming. Providence is coming." I had such an eager expectation and anticipation in my spirit.
I believe wholeheartedly that Providence is coming to SD. Father cares far too much for these babies not to show up and fight for them.

I'm a doctor. If I had to submit a disclosure of major complications such as PP abortionists = I'd say, "I'm not going to SD." Any woman who has thoughts of Suicide could say I didn't explain it to her thoroughly. They face criminal charges, wrongful death lawsuits, civil charges, loss of their medical license, prison terms of no less than two years, and possible malpractice charges. Is it worth it for $600.00 for an abortion? All it takes is one person to sue. I predict PP will be closed and it's condom week. But what good does it do to hand out condoms if you can't do abortions? PP's slogan has always been, "Show me the money." When that's gone, so are they. South Dakota has driven the first nail in the coffin of PP = the baby killers of America. Now is the time for all people of SD to donate to the voteyesforlife.ccom campaign. We must not relent even for a minute. The only reason PP can't see the writing on the wall is because their back is up against the wall. Dr. Allen Unruh
