Potential life or is it… life, imagine the potential??
I'm collecting deceptive euphemisms tossed about by the propaganda machine of those who profit from killing unborn children. Maybe I'll put together a glossary so you aren't tripped up when they use loaded language. Here's one "potential life." They use it to refer to the blobs of tissue in a woman's womb that could progress, if the woman would so choose, into a human life.
Potential means "existing in possibility, not in actuality." Potential life only fits before the sperm meets the egg, once God touches that moment, a distinct life begins. If we must use the word potential, let's place it after the word life, like in this little video clip which is called: Life, imagine the potential. I think you'll enjoy the irony.
Another thing I collect are Bible verses that directly speak to the issue of abortion. The false teachers of the religious left, the blind guides, the ones who've become spokespeople for the abortion cartel (fully abandoning their call to speak for God)… they love to say abortion doesn't come up in the Bible. My list has in excess of 100 explicit Scriptural references to the personhood of the unborn and the evil of killing them. Someday, perhaps soon, I'll publish my findings for you here. Those in my congregation know I'm always pointing them out as we come across them whereever I happen to be teaching that day in the Bible. And since you just saw a video on Obama, and since so many mistake him for Messiah, I'll share a verse here I just added to my collection that applies to both Jesus and Obama and the matter of abortion.
In John 18 Jesus said to Pilate… "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world." Do you see it? For each life God has purposes and intentions and plans and dreams set in place prior to the birth of that life. God's intention for Jesus was that he be King of kings. When we kill babies in the womb, we are snuffing out the intentions of God for that life. If you want to stay on the good side of God, I'd get out of the way of what he intends for someone else's life. If you have already committed that sin, repent, God will forgive you (he judges unrepentant societies) and join with others who are fighting for each child to have a chance.
I started talking about deceptive euphemisms of the anti-life crowd. At the top of the list is the word "choice." Choice is the creed on the lips those who bow at the altar of secularism (godlessness). Abortion is the high and holy sacrament. Choice is a deep offense to the Author and Finisher of Life that says, no God, we choose what lives come into this world, not you.
