President Opostasy removes Scripture from the war room

Yesterday we learned that President Opostasy ordered the Pentagon to cease placing a daily verse from the Bible on the cover page of the daily Pentagon briefing given to the White House. We are told a Muslim at the Pentagon complained.  Imagine if that complainer was working in the military HQ of a Muslim nation and complained the Koran was quoted.  I'm guessing a beheading would be in order.  I'm certain the commander in chief of that nation would not make haste, as our leader did, to expunge Allah from the war room.

I got myself into a conversation over at Todd Epp's blog on another matter (abortion, you guessed it) and it morphed into this topic so I thought I'd repost one of my comments here.

It is a sad day to remove the Bible verses from the daily Pentagon briefings to the White House. Nothing better than the Bible to consider just prior to looking at situations which desperately need a word of Divine Wisdom. I can't think of a better advisor to have in a war room than God's Word. If President Obortion the Empathy Challenged really wants God's hand off US war efforts, I'm sure God will lift his protective hand and you'll see myriads more US men and women die because of Obama's defiance of God.

There will be more death under this president than any President in the history of our nation. I'm not just counting the deaths of the unborn worldwide due to his policies- he's opening the doors to more large scale terrorism strikes here at home. And get your head out of the sand, why do think the twin towers came down? It's because a HOLY war, an ISLAMIC JIHAD, has been called against those they consider religious infidels.. US.  They despise especially things you celebrate… like homosexuality. They see us as immoral, I'd think God is on their side on that one for sure.  We ARE in a HOLY war whether or not we choose to acknowledge it.

I've been a chaplain and I know that men and women who risk their lives everyday for others need and WANT heaven's counsel and comfort. In those moments the last thing they need or want is the idiotic, untested nonsense of the politically correct crowd.

4000 dead US troops is tragic. It is interesting that it's about the same number of US babies we are aborting EVERY DAY.  Where is your outrage there? The huge difference though is that the former are dying so others can live free and do as we do here… enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  These are not deaths in vain. It's a God-like thing to do to send a son in harms way on behalf of the welfare of others.

I say we fight them back by having more babies - you need to see this… I'll be in Europe most of the summer - I know you'll be glad to have me gone.  But Germany is Muslim now. If we proceed according to our present course, America will soon be too. I look at my kids and think about grandkids - I'm going to do what I can do because America under Christianity is far better than America under Islam.

Do you remember the atrocities of Saddam? Against the Kurds? Do you remember the horror his sons committed against women.  I'm just pointing to the tip of the iceberg in terms of their crimes against humanity. God bless the nation that rises up and stops such evil.  Read Romans 13 and you'll see God will use a righteous government as his servant and give that nation full sword wielding power to do his work in the world.

I don't plan to continue a conversation with you about war here - I can guess what is next, what about the innocent Iraqi's we have killed? Curious to me there is why you care about THAT shedding of innocent blood but promote the shedding of innocent blood right here at home.

Today I'm off to some Alliance Defense Fund meetings here in DC. I'll think of you when I walk by all the monuments here inscripted in marble with references to the fact that this nation, it's government and laws, were founded on Judeo-Christian values and BIBLE verses.  Did you know that the Bible is quoted 1000 times more than any other source in the writings of the Founding Era?  34% of the content in founding documents were direct quotations from the Bible. So yes, it's a big deal that President Opostasy is taking the Scriptures off the Pentagon briefings.
