Roger Hunt wins, Chris Nelson losing support
KELOLAND.COM reports:
Monday, Sioux Falls circuit judge Kathleen Caldwell ruled in favor of state Representative Roger Hunt, who formed Promising Future Inc. three years ago. The corporation had one shareholder who gave $750,000 to the 2006 Vote Yes For Life campaign. South Dakota Secretary of State Chris Nelson argued it was a corporate 'shell' to hide the identity of the donor. It's been a three-year legal fight, but the donor who gave three quarters of a million dollars to the 2006 campaign to ban abortions is still anonymous…
…Secretary of State Chris Nelson is surprised by the decision. "We go into any enforcement action with the belief that the statutes are constitutional and this is an issue that arose during the course of this proceeding and the judge at this point says it's not consitutional and can't be enforced," Nelson said. At this point, Nelson hasn't decided if an appeal will be next in this long legal fight.
Not hearing much support for Chris Nelson for Congress in the pro-life sectors of South Dakota. Any wonder why? If only we had a fraction of this zeal to hold Planned Parenthood to the letter of South Dakota law.

No kidding. Why is the state so easy on Planned Parenthood when we know they are breaking the law, yet Chris Nelson can't put this issue to rest despite this judge's ruling, TWICE. Chris Nelson can tell us he is pro-life until he is blue in the face, but he has wasted tons of money and time going after Roger Hunt. There is no way he will get my vote.

Planned Parenthood is losing their demonic cover in courtrooms all over America. Ha! Yesterday a judge ruled against Planned Parenthood in Texas in their effort to silence recently former Bryan/College Station Abortion Clinic director Abby Johnson who had a dramatic conversion experience while assisting with an abortion/feticide on a 13-week baby. Planned Parenthood lost on all counts in their effort to muzzle Abby. Their deep pockets have holes, their demonic covering is rent and torn. Sunlight is streaming in. Praise God!
Thank God also for Roger Hunt. He is covered by our continued prayers. History will note him as a hero cast in the same mold as William Wilburforce. He has been exonerated - TWICE.

I agree Roger Hunt has advanced the ending of abortion in this state but my question is why he voted against HB 1156 that would investigate the sex slave trade in SD? Abortion and sex slave trade go hand in hand and there is a huge problem in SD that pertains to this issue. A blind eye and/or deaf ear has been turned in the presence of the slave trade because a business front is not promoting it. We need to confront this as much as we need to confront abortion.
