Sanford Health TEAMS UP with Planned Parenthood?!

Say it isn't so - a "team effort between Planned Parenthood and the Sanford School of Medicine." Here it is in the March 10, 2008 Rapid City Journal

As part of National Women and Girls HIV and AIDS Awareness Day free HIV testing will be available today, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Planned Parenthood in Rapid City. The testing is a team effort between Planned Parenthood and the Sanford School of Medicine.

Seems like a small thing, who isn't for HIV AIDS awareness, testing, and prevention? That's not my issue at all.  Maybe if I paraphrase this you will see what I'm seeing: the testing is a team effort between an organization that exists to end human life and an organization that exists to save human life.

Admittedly, my radar is up and few around me will attest to the fact that I've been watching the Sanford gift closely.  Am I the only one sensing something subsurface here? There is always a strong partnership between Mammon (the spirit that attaches itself to money) and Molech (the ancient spirit behind child sacrifice/abortion). Time will tell if there is more here than meets the eye.  You say, like what?  Well, for starters, like embryonic stem cell research being a key facit of the new Sanford Research initiatives. Maybe I'm wrong. I do know Planned Parenthood has a dark, dark agenda.

Sanford Health clearly has an "agenda." Unfortunately, most of us on the outside of their organization don't know the details of that agenda. For a very small insight into their "we must have it all" mentality, check out the Forbes March 11, 2008 issue. There is an article in it titled "Bad Medicine". It is the first article I have seen that sheds a very small light on the tactics that Sanford Health uses to advance their "we must have it all" mentality. It make for good reading. Interestingly, none of the local news outlet would even mention anything about this national magazine portraying Sanford in a less than favorable light.

Thanks Mark - Here's the link to the Forbes Bad Medicine article:

In all fairness, Sanford Health and the Sanford School of Medicine are two separate organizations. The school of medicine is part of the University of South Dakota. Granted T. Denny Sanford donated to both organizations and they are on the Sanford Health Campus, but the graduates are recruited by both Avera, Sanford, as well as many other hospitals outside of Sioux Falls.
I'm no fan of Planned Parenthood by any stretch, but I felt obligated to comment.

Jeff, I really appreciate the comment - it's precisely the kind of feedback I was hoping for… more light on all this. The distinction between the two institutions is noted, but I do have some notes on interesting overlap that exists, like Dr. Maria Bell being a professor at the School of Medicine. Let's keep watching closely.

I always say "Follow the Mammon." Er, I mean the money.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Sanford (aka Sioux Valley) also have dr. Buck Williams on one of their prestigious boards while he was performing abortions at Planned Parenthood?
