Curious isn't it, in light of the fact that Stephanie supports the South Dakota Campaign for UNHealthy Families latest marketing slogan - Let Families Decide. Which is it Stephanie? Do you think families should decide or government?
I challenge Rep. Herseth-Sandlin to stand up somewhere in South Dakota this week and tell a crowd of people that she believes a 14 year old girl should be able to escorted by a school nurse across state lines to get an abortion without her mom and dad knowing anything about it. And then, in the next breath, I challenge her to say regarding IM11, we should let families decide this very personal decision. Then, in the next breath, I challenge her to say the government should continue sending Planned Parenthood $335 million tax payer dollars a year to pay for these abortions that we don't want moms and dads to know about. Then, I challenge her to say that she believes the people shouldn't be deciding on this issue because it's good enough that five judges decided for us thirty-five years ago. Voters should vote her out on this issue alone.
Here's what happens when families decide… abortions are fewer (by 31%!). Bummer for those who profit from abortion. What a win though for South Dakota!
Vote for Chris Lein - a new voice for South Dakota. A word to Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (and Sen. Tim Johnson)… when you are given voice and influence but don't use that voice for the most vulnerable in society, you eventually lose your voice and new voices will replace you.

I have to sign a consent for my teenaged daughter to have her ears pierced but Stephanie Herseth agrees to a bill that would allow that same child to have an abortion without my even knowing about it! She makes me ill! She is a mother herself and I am certain she wants to know every detail of her child's life! She says she is pro-choice but she goes much further! Furthermore, isn't it considered kidnapping to take a minor anywhere without a parent's consent? Beware to those who value family! The government is trying to steal our children away!
