SD's Tom Brokaw protects Obama from questions above his pay grade

Yesterday, I was out in the state (doing what you might suspect I was doing with only 27 days remaining) so posting something on the snooze-ville Presidential debate from Tuesday night didn't happen. Before it's too late, I will direct you to a couple articles that say it better than I would have anyway. Brokaw disappointed a few of us here in his home state, but we weren't surprised.

Tom Brokaw's Filter Prevents Any Abortion Discussion in Town Hall Debate

and

Where Were the Difficult Questions? I'll drop just one section from that article here… It's by Day Gardner, the president of the National Black Pro-Life Union

With all this talk about cutting spending, why was there no mention of cutting the 350 million dollars dolled out to the 'billion dollar' Planned Parenthood abortion chain? Why was there no mention about the killing of infants born alive? … Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that due to the blatant effort by the liberal media to cover up the outlandish stand of Barack Obama on infants born alive and the cowardice of Mr. Obama, who folds under the pressure of the nation's largest abortion chain, Shanice and other children like her, will continue to die these horrible deaths.

Regarding the debate…the one from last week, as well as most of the others…and those to come.

I would have to agree, LAME. The collection of (in the voice of a Charlie Brown adult) wah wah waah wah waaah drivel from Obama, while the usual failed attempts at dreary mirth from McCain both always leave me thirsty for something with content.

BHO continually spouts rhetorical statistics. Everyone has them, some are more accurate than others – but no matter what your opinion, view, or argument you will always be able to find statistics that support your claims.

It was interesting to me that the questions were from “undecided” voters. I don't get it…If you’re not decided by now – what catastrophic event and colloquial response would you need to derive your vote?

I don't know what the media is saying about what happened Tuesday night. Neither had a good performance. And, thanks to the obviously slanted and weighted survey of questions by Mr. Brokaw, neither side was able to actually confer into debate.

I think this result is much to the dismay and disgust apathetic of the American public.
