Jan Nicolay sees the devil
In case you missed it, I'm guessing you did, South Dakota Public Radio devoted about five minutes this morning and evening to the South Dakota petition drive including a short audio clip from one of my recent LIFE messages and a couple comments from an interview with me. It's always wild to me what quotes and snippets actually get used. You can listen to it here. Most interesting to me is the written synopsis posted next to the link:
A campaign is underway to once again ask South Dakota voters to ban most abortions. Abortion opponents hope to be successful this round by allowing more exceptions to a ban. But the other side says read carefully, alleging the devil is in the details.
The devil is in the details. With that comment, Jan Nicolay, again leading the Campaign for Unhealthy Families, tries to make the point that this new legislation isn't really what it appears to be. She calls all this "disingenuous." This from the first lady of false representation. This from the people who say they are for "healthy families." Of course, the word "healthy" is merely code for dismembering living human beings without anethesia.
I think we should take a real close look at the "details" of this abortion legislation - voters will see this is precisely what they wanted in 2006. But let's not stop there, let's also bring into broad daylight every dark detail of the Planned Parenthood underworld. Jan, I'll help you show the rest of the state precisely where the devil, the Father of Lies, really roosts.
