THE PEOPLE'S INITIATIVE - South Dakotan's support LIFE

Here's a pic from the VoteYesForLife petition drive celebration this afternoon. Note the faces and who is behind this abortion legislation… teacher, farmer, doctor, nurse, electrician, retired, teenager, east river, west river, pastors, Catholic, Protestant, white, native, legislator, moms, dads… and that's just who fit into this picture.

A couple notable stories: Pastor Gabe Medicine Eagle (middle row, left end) drove in from Rosebud though his wife Vi had to stay outside in the car because of her health. Gabe said he "represents the native community that believes all life is sacred." Bill Conner (standing at the right corner of the banner) introduced himself as "representing raped women because his mom was repeatedly raped and he was a product of all that." Doctors tell Bill his days are numbered (Leukemia), but this guy is all about LIFE.
