Volunteer army emerges in South Dakota for Initiated Measure 11

We are seeing it all across the state at fairs, events, info meetings, etc… South Dakota is full of volunteers who support LIFE - good people who know abortion is wrong and who are not ashamed to stand in a booth at their county fair and encourage others to vote yes on Initiated Measure 11. Contrast that with the lamenting of recent from the UNHealthy Families campaign that no one will stand up and actually have their name and face associated those who want to chop up children. [They site fear and harrassment from the pro-life camp as a leading reason they struggle to get volunteers. No way. It's fully the other way around. The pro-life people in South Dakota behave. Those coming in from the dark underworld of Planned Parenthood do not.]

In any case, they can't even get an actual South Dakotan to put his/her face on their recent brochures. Their door to door flyer depicts a "doctor" but it's really just a stock image. This whole thing is a grand facade. Why would a "legit" health care organization need to use stock images unless they aren't legit and they have no in-state docs. Contrast that with the hundreds of South Dakota Physicians for Life who were happy to put their face/name on commercials and ads in '06. The people in these pictures are known to South Dakotans.

Still on the subject of volunteers, just with a different twist… I just noticed this picture on the VoteYesForLife.com website of the Brookings Chapter of Right to Life's float at the Brookings County Parade.

Note all the blue "VoteYes on 11" t-shirts and posters. Just because a few state "Right to Life" leaders are stubbornly and, to their own detriment, reluctant to support this measure (because they don't want the exceptions) doesn't mean their constituency isn't fully behind IM11. Honestly, does anyone really think the thousands of Right to Life members in South Dakota are going to go into the voting booth on November 4 and vote with Planned Parenthood? Not gonna happen.
