Several SD We-Love-Abortion events upcoming
Wasting no time, the we-love-abortion crowd is planning several events here in South Dakota.
1. 36th ROE ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION - Motherhood by Choice - Hors d'oeuvres and Cash Bar

On Thursday, January 22nd, Planned Parenthood will be celebrating the 36th anniversary of the landmark Roe vs. Wade decision and we hope you will join us. The anniversary marks 36 years of freedom for women and families and we will continue to fight to protect women's health, increase access to affordable health care and birth control, and expand access to comprehensive sex ed. There is still much work to be done. Planned Parenthood is once again partnering with NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota to present the documentary: "MOTHERHOOD by CHOICE, NOT CHANCE." Just two and a half short months ago, South Dakotans defeated a second abortion ban in as many years. We truly have something to celebrate here. 2. KATE LOOBY SPEAKING IN PIERRE - INDIAN COUNTRY TARGETED FOR MORE ABORTIONS

Monday, February 2nd, 2009 marks the 4th annual Women4Women Day sponsored by the South Dakota Advocacy Network for Women. You're invited to join us in Pierre for an exciting day of networking and lobbying. Or you can join us a day early on Sunday, February 1st for an afternoon of enrichment: Leadership Development and Political Organizing in Indian Country. The afternoon will be followed by a no-host social hour and dinner. If you're interested in joining us on Sunday, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Kings Inn in Pierre. Women4Women is an annual event to make our voices heard on four important issues: Reproductive Rights, Violence Against Women, Equal Opportunity, Education. 3. WHAT IT MEANS TO BE HUMAN - Lecture by Dr. Maria Bell…
SD pro-abortion extremist Dr. Maria Bell is speaking at the Spring Thought Leader Forum Series sponsored by Augustana College in Sioux Falls. Her topic - Cancer: What it means to be human? Dr. Bell pontificating on the definition of humanity and what it means to be human?? The irony is too much. Do you suppose her radical beginning-of-life views carry over to her end-of-life views in terms of who should live and who shouldn't? Do you think she advocates ignoring the voice and best interests of the patient and letting families decide instead? Maybe she thinks only people who can afford to live should be allowed to live. Ridiculous isn't it? Only if you chop up all the various stages in human life and say this is human life and that isn't. Welcome to the inconsistent ethic of Dr. Bell. Do you suppose those who invited her have any idea that she has no idea what indeed does make one a human being? Actually, those who invited her know full well what she believes because they believe it too… thus the invitation. It's a "thought leaders" forum - that means they are leading the Augie further into progressive thinking like - humanity starts when we welcome people into the human family (and if no one wants you, you aren't human).
4. SANFORD HEALTH SEMINAR - COUNSELING PREGNANT PATIENTS WITH FETAL ANOMALIES

Steve, you better pray that your wife or daughter doesn't get an OB cancer. Dr. Bell is the best OB oncologist in the area, if not the country. She saves women's lives everyday, yet you insult her because she performs VERY FEW abortions in order to save a women's life.
If I happen to get a life-threatening cancer and happen to be pregnant, I will have an abortion so I can start therapy sooner rather than later. Why? Because I have children that need their mother. I have a responsibility to the children that are already on this Earth to do everything I can to stay alive.
Your insults, cartoons and overall stalking is ABSURB.
BTW, it's called Pro-CHOICE, not Pro-Abortion. Peter Slevin tried to explain it to you, but you obviously can't wrap your little head around it. What a hateful person you are. Start leading by example.

Grace - have you seen more than one cartoon out of me? Nope. Dr. Bell gets occasional mention in my blog because she has been a vocal advocate for killing unborn children not because she is an OBGYN. Those of us on this side of the fence who put our face/name with what we are speaking out on take great heat as do those on the other side of the fence (like Dr. Bell) who go public with their stance. She and I actually have something in common. Her reputation as a doc is forever marred because she has stepped up so publicly and vocally to promote killing unborn children, just as my reputation as a pastor has come under great fire for saying publicly that killing children is wrong. Have you Grace been on the butt end of insults, threats, cartoons, etc. on this issue? I have. And so has Dr. Bell. We both knew what we were getting into and believe what we believe strongly enough to jeopardize reputation.
Only one person besides me knows about my Peter Slevin conversation and that person is Peter himself (for the rest of you… Peter is a reporter from the Washington Post who interviewed me in my office last summer). Grace, what your comment tells me is that Peter waltzed right over to Planned Parenthood and told you about my conversation with him. Me thinks you are Kate Looby. You'll deny that I'm sure but the truth is not in you.
The pro-abortion terminology is accurate. You advocate abortion as the ONLY solution to unwanted pregnancies. You don't counsel women to adopt, or choose life, ever. The "choice" terminology is ill-fitting because you don't offer women ANY other choices. The other day Cory at Madville was chiding folks for using deceptive euphemisms. Maybe you saw his comments…
For once I agree with Cory. But, he's like you - pro-abortion - and can't see the amazing extent of euphemism surrounding the abortion industry. I think I'll develop a glossary for those who want to speak your code language…

Good thing Dr. Bell isn't the only doctor in Sioux Falls who is known for their amazing work in treating cancer. I've heard of an even better one and that is Jesus, I've even heard He is much better then Bell! Interesting how in her Doctor's Story she claims to be a part of the world mission "Medicine for Humanity." It'll be interesting to hear her explain to God how it was humane to kill children.

Have you ever read a medical study that has shown that abortion raises risks for cancer? If you haven't I'd recommend you start educating yourself. Hopefully you never get a life threatening cancer while you are pregnant, or ever, because an abortion isn't going to be the key. Not only that Grace but you are trying to argue a point that was clearly protected within the initiative. Not only do I pray for you Grace but I truly have empathy for you. You are so filled with hatred. Find the Lord Grace and there you will find happiness. Dr. Bell or any other pro-abort group is not going to be there to protect you or support you unless you have something to give to offer them. The Lord on the other hand is always there for you. If you put your faith in Him in Him you will always find happiness. How well do you truly know Dr. Bell or her medical training or her medical success? Do you have a medical degree along with the statistics that you can honestly state that Dr. Bell is the best oncologist in the area and maybe in the country? Did you know that Dr. Bell has lost funding through the Mayo clinic in the past for her research? If she is such an awesome oncologist then why did the Mayo clinic prevent funding for some of her research she was conducting here in Sioux Falls? Find the Lord Grace.

Wrong again, Steve. I'm not Kate Looby, but if I were, I'd have a sweet body. I've never even set foot in the SF PP. Did you ever happen to ask Peter how he heard about you and the Lampstand Project? Here's a hint, it's not because of your press conference.

Medical research of all types see a decrease in funding at one time or another. One with an Ivy League education should know that. Did you know that Dr. Bell rec'd death threats in 2006 and Sanford installed a panic button on the receptionist desk? Did you know, Steph, that Dr. Bell had to take her kids out of the Catholic school system during the 06' election because their wonderful Catholic schoolmates were telling them their mom was a baby killer? Sounds like a great bunch of kids over there. Very, very Christian.

As far as Dr. Bell's children needing to be removed from school that is very unfortunate, but children have been taught to tell the truth. That is what these children know therefore that is what they are saying. They were not saying that Dr. Bell's children are baby killers they were saying that their mother is which is the truth. Since you are all worried about the children what about Hickey’s children, what about the attacks they endured, or Unruh’s children?
Yes, Grace, I do know what I am talking about. “Medical research of all types see a decrease in funding at one time or another.” I did not say she got a decrease in funding I said they prevented funding to her research. Two totally different things! The government many times puts restrictions on funding for research due to money, but the incident I am talking about, Mayo clinic stopped her funding!
Dr. Bell is not the only one who has received death threats. Many research labs are prepared for death threats because it is a common fact of the career. I do love how you try to protect and defend Dr. Bell but do you realize that the Hickey family, along with the Unruh family and other families campaigning for vote yes for life received the same if not worse? I honestly look at the fact that since Sanford didn’t have to install a panic button until 2006 as very lucky. Most research labs are built with them or find out right away they need one. Dr. Bell has been doing research for years.
Steve doesn’t throw insults. He believes in the Lord which means believing in all the Lord stands for. You can’t believe in the Lord unless you believe everything Christ stood for! Sorry you find those insults but once again find the Lord and you will see why they are not insults. Please tell me where Steve or I have lied or stalked.
To pray for a healing of cancer or any healing requires you to truly know the promises Christ gave to us. You cannot just say Jesus Christ heal me. You have to believe in your heart and your soul that Christ is your healer and your maker. You can have no doubts about it! If you believe Christ is your physician He will heal you if you ask Him.
I am not here to judge you Grace. I am only trying to help you see your double standards, and where your beliefs go wrong with abortion. I may not ever be able to make you understand but I do honestly feel that God is working on you. Everyone sins and Christians make mistakes too. I know that Christians have offended you by things said, and you find these things hurtful but think about what Christ is feeling right now. He does not want us to judge you He wants us to help you. No matter how many nasty things you say Grace we will always be here for you.
