Where are the feminists?
UPDATED: 8/31
Recently the gals at Dakota UnWomanly have been having an identity crisis. They want us to believe they are advocates for women which is getting increasingly more difficult as they continue to openly and callously tell the women hurt by abortion to shut up because they were probably unstable basket-cases before the abortion anyway. In selfish pursuit of their own fulfillment - to hell with the rights of others, eff the unborn child within - they'll flip you off and spew vulgarities. These aren't reasonable people who represent South Dakota values.
The Palin pick is unveiling that Democrats, and "feminists" too, are progressive pigs (which means they are actually more regressive than progressive). On the Denver Channel yesterday a CNN media pool was caught on an open mike commenting on Sarah Palin's nice a- - , and a string of other sexist insults. I guess they only see her as an object of desire, typical that they don't see that she is and has done so much more… a swift agent of change taking on a corrupt sitting senator and a corrupt governor both from her own party and those two things just within the first year in executive office. She earned herself the nickname Barracuda. This gal needs to be celebrated by feminists not fondled by their friends.
Yet, classy leftists scrambled yesterday to find a picture of the beauty queen in a bikini and our own South DaCola blogger found a pic of someone that looks like her and that was enough to post major sexism and chauvinism toward Gov. Sarah Palin under the title - booiiiiiinnnnnnnng. We can only assume that South DaCola was merely expressing what the Palin pick literally did for him.
Guess what, silence over at Dakota UnWomenly. So, I asked them about it…
I'll be waiting for you to jump all over the sexism and chauvinism displayed today over at South DaCola… the guy who appears "progressive" just outed himself as a major pig. Looks like he's not the only progressive pig throwing sexist mud today… Caught on live audio, the media sexist insults begin. This would be a good double-standard for Cory at Madville to blog on. I'm waiting.
Cory instead posts on how Sarah Palin is "in bed" with TransCanada. Dakota Unwomanly dodged my challenge saying they can't write about all the sexism in the entire world. No doubt if I had stooped to sexism they'd have spent the next two days nailing me to the wall. South DaCola is a local blog they read every day, hardly an example of sexism way out there in the far away world.
They also fired back a crack about a "vagina" causing me to realize again we aren't dealing here with feminine class, sophistication and decency on the level of Sarah Palin, nor are we really dealing with anything respectable or attractive or even truly feminist. We are dealing with trailer-park anger, crass and belligerence toward 2008 science affecting women. The difference between these two groups of "feminists" can be likened to the difference between Tanya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan on ice. And, of course, the local Jeff Gillooly's are now trying to take Palin out at the knees. She will stand tall.
Contrast these Tanya Hardings of "reproductive choice" with what we see in people like Gov. Sarah Palin, "the Barracuda" - who I believe to be representative of an emerging Biblical feminism - of the caliber of Biblical Deborah who led armies, or Biblical Esther whose beauty, brilliance and self-sacrificing determination in the court of the King resulted in a death decree being reversed off an entire sector of helpless humanity. Yes, the issue today is a death decree known as Roe v Wade and we have an Esther coming out of nowhere about to whisper into the ear of the king.
Here, in Palin, we have someone with more executive experience than either Barry or Biden put together. We aren't wowwed by the fact that they have only "run" a senate office. Barry has sat on some committees for 18 months when he wasn't off campaigning some where. Unlike Palin, he's never been in a position to make high stake decisions multiple times a day. I hope they keep underscoring our number two gals "inexperience" because that only makes our point that their number one guy has less. Palin has run a small city and a large state. As one former governor, now senator, said last night, a person gets more executive experience in six months as governor than they do in six years as a senator.
Palin ruthlessly challenged corruption in her own party, the Republican Party. And now Dakota Unwomenly has a perfect opportunity here to confront sexism in their own party - it fully exists as is evidence by their girl Hillary's absence from the ticket. Here's the opportunity to reject what Hillary faced in the Democratic underworld. Many will rightfully defect and back a real feminist rising to the top.
Sarah Palin stood up to Big Oil interests and then, get this, she looked at her own child's fetal anomaly and said he looks perfect to me - let him live.
That decision alone qualifies her to govern justly.
Barry voted to kill babies born alive and then said he didn't until it was shown that yes he did. Barry's wife is now out there supporting her husband's infanticide stance with DNC statements about women being able to choose "whether and when they will embrace the sacred responsibility of parenthood." Huh? Did she just say there is something sacred about rejecting your own child? Yep.
Mostly, I can't wait to see Biden debate Palin. He has no self-control, nor finesse. We all remember how, in the primary debates, gender tensions surfaced as the guys debated Hillary - they came on too strong?! Or, did she come off as strong? I predict the Barracuda eats Biden for lunch and he comes off as an old school chauvinist. Surely they are already coaching him through sensitivity training so this doesn't happen - but old dogs can't learn new tricks - he's hardly one who personifies change - more the dirty old dog in terms of old boy clubs of partisan politics.
If you want to see Tanya-Harding-style-reproductive-choice-"feminism" rearing it's head in our state you need to look no further than yesterday's post from the false feminists of Planned Parenthood MN, ND, SD. It's not worth reading, as expected, they jump all over Sarah Palin. But just note the naked gal flipping us off.
Instead of the attorney general's ballot description of IM11, maybe we should just note those behind this "feminist" blog are the same people fueling the opposition to this law. When South Dakotans see that, they will vote yes as would the real feminists like Sarah Palin.

Amen brother.
Way to call it as it is. Sounds like the same old politics in the NAACP and their reaction to Justice Thomas, General Powell, and Dr Rice.
The hypocrisy runs deep into the core of both organizations.
