Worried about becoming a slave again - Whoopi to McCain

John McCain appeared on the View today and discussed his hope that Roe v Wade would be overturned. He spoke of how he'd pick judges who will interpret the Constitution the way our Founding Fathers envisioned the Constitution to be interpreted. That made Whoopi Goldberg nervous and she asked McCain this question:

Should I be worried about being a slave, about being returned to slavery because certain things happened in the Constitution that you had to change?  Video clip here

The crowd clapped. I hope the left keeps connecting the dots between slavery and abortion because they are indeed very very related. The Thirteenth Amendment to our Constitution freed slaves and it came about because our society began to wake up to the reality that blacks were people too.

We have now come to the place in our history where science and reasonable people realize the unborn are people too and a Constitutional amendment is now needed to protect unborn human life.

The very legislative progress that Whoopi has personally benefited from needs to now take place so the unborn aren't looked at any longer as sub-human.

If I'm "Kate," then you're Roger! Love it!

Steve:

I would definitely consider being cited as "Roger" a huge compliment - he is a true hero with multiple crowns in Heaven. Kate….um, not so much right now - though there is always hope and we continue to pray earnestly for her toward that end.

Planned Parenthood and its adherents remind me of this scripture:

2 Timothy 3 Godlessness in the Last Days

1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

6They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
